Naming NotesOriginally it was presumed by some uninformed parties that Troy was dedicated to the city of the Trojans, but they were mistaken. In reality, it is consecrated after the lead basketball player/high school theater actor from the most icon Disney Channel Original Movie ever. A tribute to this outstanding, sensational trilogy, Troy is named after the male lead in High School Musical.

Sequencing NotesOddly, this genome seemed to have a buildup of reads that indicated a 19-base overhang rather than the 17-base overhang, whereas SamW clearly had buildups that indicated a 17-base overhang. But since Troy was in a MiSeq run where several other phages had lengthened overhangs, we assumed it was part of an oddity of the run, and so made this overhang match SamW's.
