Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from under a tree and very moist soil. The surrounding temperature was 109 degrees Fahrenheit on August 30th, 2015.
Naming NotesThe name Vitae means "life" in Latin. We chose this name because this was our first biology lab and biology means the study of life; therefore, we chose life for our phage name. We also found the name to be interesting.
