Soil was collected from private home in the Las Vegas NV area, at a depth of 6'. The soil was moist, sandy, and filled with debris. It was collected from a semi-shady location under a 9 year old pomegranate tree that had been fertilized with organic homemade compost 3 months prior. Ambient temperature was 34.5 degrees Celsius. DNA sequencing and gneome assemble were carried out at the Pittsburgh Bacteriophage Institute at the University of Pittsburgh using Illumina sequencing technology. Average coverage depth was 3156.
