Giantsbane was isolated, characterized, and annotated by Pei Ying (Alex) Chen, Christopher Liu, Preston Dang, Michael Zhang, Heather A. Angel, Abbas Hakim, and Derek Q. Lam (UCLA). DNA preparation was performed by Krisanavane Reddi. DNA Sequencing by Illumina to approximate shotgun coverage of 2197x was performed by the Pittsburgh Bacteriophage Institute.
