Discovery NotesSoil sample was collected on the Usciences campus outside of the IPEX building. The soil was moist and had rocks and twigs in it and was taken from about 4cm below the ground. The group was sloped downward and in a rural area.
Naming NotesThe name "Animal" was picked because I thought it would be funny that a virus was named animal. I also loved Sesame Street as a child and Animal was one of my favorite characters.
