Discovery Notes | I dug up soil that was near a plant on the corner of Euterpe and Barrone Street in New Orleans,Louisiana. When I placed the soil in a Ziploc bag, condensation formed inside the bag. I brought the soil to my lab class and throughout on semester, I isolated, amplified, and purified the viral DNA from the phage that was found in the soil. |
