Discovery NotesPhage was discovered by Rachel Decesaris in front of the Barco Law Building. The soil was dark and filled with roots and debris from the flower garden outside the building. Sample was collected at 12 pm on September 12, 2019.
Naming NotesThe name Bheeshma is from the Mahabharatha. Bheeshma was the seventh of seven children and all of his older siblings died minutes after birth. Just as Bheeshma was the one to survive, my phage was the one to make it through, unlike its predecessors.
