Discovery NotesI collected this sample at the edge of a field by a brick column at the edge of two concrete walkways. This spot gets shade for half the day and is subject to sunlight the other half. I collected my sample at 2:15 on a sunny afternoon, it had not rained recently and the soil was rather dry. It did not appear to have any evidence of heavy traffic. This was also on a college campus. The soil appeared to be of a red clay variety and was collected at a depth of 7 cm below the surface.
Naming NotesI named my bacteriophage after myself, Biddle.

Plaque NotesMy plaques are clear yet exhibit small amounts of turbidity making them slightly opaque but still easily seen through. My average plaque size is near 3 mm after 24 hours. The plaques exhibit a growth in size between 24-48 hours and when grown at 37 degrees and 30 degrees appeared to not develop at differing rates.
