Discovery NotesThe soil sample that BlackEyedSusan was found in was collected on 9/2/2014 at 09:47 about 2cm from the surface. The soil was relatively moist as it had recently rained. It was collected in a flower bed of Black Eyed Susan Flowers. The collection site was also approximately 15 feet to a sidewalk path with foot traffic, 40 feet from a road, and 100 feet from trees.
Naming NotesThe soil sample for the phage was collected in a Black Eyed Susan patch. The phage itself when examined through Electron Microscopy, resembles a Black Eyed Susan with no petals.
