Discovery NotesIt had rained the morning of collecting the soil sample (September 14, 2012). It was slightly cloudy, dark and grey with very little sun out, windy and 72F outside. Under a planted tree behind the Garcia Science Building at Del Mar College, I went in 1.5 inches to collect. The soil was dark and extremely moist due to the rain that morning. There were ants living in the sample, so I repeated the collection on the exact opposite side of the tree, again going in 1.5 inches.
Naming NotesThe name of my phage is my son's middle name, whom also happens to be a cat.
