Discovery NotesTo isolate the phage and make sure it was only one type I completed 4 serial dilutions. This resulted in the last dilutions results having the same morphology to the plaques.

The soil that the sample was taken from was a spot of soil that was damp from previous rain that day. The temperature at the time it was taken was 69 degrees F. The time of day was 6:44 P.M, with cloudy weather and there were no animals seen around the site.
Naming NotesThis name came from the fact that my soil sample was taken from a spot by a tree that was right outside of the local library.
