Discovery NotesThis soil sample was collected from a grassy area above Chevron Science Center at the University of Pittsburgh. The weather was breezy, and the sun was shining on the area but some of the surrounding was in the shade. There were squirrels running through the area and a couple of trees and weeds growing in the surrounding area. Most of the dirt was fairly moist but some of the surrounding dirt looked to be dry.
Naming NotesThe name of this phage originated from a mix of two of my puppies' names. They are brothers born on the same day, one named Bronx and the other named Benji. These came together to make the name I intend to use for my phage: Bronxji.
