Discovery NotesThe location where this sample was extracted was in suburban Pennsylvania in Bensalem, approximately twenty minutes from the city of Philadelphia. The sample was extracted from a garden bed/vegetable garden, approximately 2.54 cm in depth into the soil. Although the temperature of the soil sample is unknown, the sample was collected in colder temperatures. The temperature outside was approximately 48 degrees Fahrenheit or approximately 8.9 or 9 degrees Celsius. The sample was collected in an open location with nothing in its proximity to affect the soil's characteristics. However, it rained the day of collection, as well as the previous day, making the environmental sample wet during collection.
Naming NotesThis name was chosen due to the morphology of the plaques. The plaques were clear and formed in the form of a bubble. Therefore, I named my phage after the character in Spongebob: Bubble Buddy.

Plaque NotesThroughout purification and other plating procedures, the plaques were clear with no presence of any turbidity. The plaque was clear throughout and was approximately 1mm in diameter. The plaque was completely clear with no presence of a turbid ring around the plaque. Therefore, the plaque has no turbidity.
