Discovery NotesI found this phage's soil sample at the base of an okra stalk. The soil was mostly topsoil, recently tilled for planting the okra and very dry. Outside, it was very hot. I recorded 87 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesUpon isolating the phage, I noticed that there were halos surrounding each individual plaque. These halos resemble the light orb that surround a lit candle in a dark room.
