The soil sample was picked from the front yard of a home in a rural area. A neighborhood with trees and other homes around the home the sample was picked from. There is no water around the area making the soil very dry.
Naming NotesThere is a popular female rapper that Stephany and Jordan, the two individuals who discovered the phage, like. The rapper goes by the stage name of Cardi B.Our phage resembles the artist in the sense that they are very like-able but have an aggressiveness to them. We named altered the B to a P to stand for phage.
