Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected in a very moist patch of soil located near the Jameson-Mead dormitory of Brown University. Many students walk past this location regularly. It was collected on September 11, 2015, and the temperature was 18 degrees Celsius. The depth of the sample dug was about 2.5 cm deep. The particular area I dug in was surrounded by grass and roots.
