Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on September 19, 2020, from a soil plot within the Juanita Greer White Life Sciences building at UNLV. The sample was collected approximately 10cm deep from the surface of the soil. The ambient temperature of the room was 26°C.
Naming NotesEvery year, new memes are created and shared across various social media platforms. To me, Cheems (also known as Balltze the Shiba Inu) was the most distinguished meme of 2020, so I felt like naming a phage in his honor.
