The sample was retrieved from the Chapman Mills Conservation Area in Ottawa, Canada (45º27'79.4"N, 75º70'24.8"W), beside the Rideau River. |

Cosette was named after a character in the 1862 novel Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, the orphaned child of an unmarried mother, full of hopeful innocence and subtle strength, who aims to ultimately achieve happiness in her life. |
