Discovery NotesThis sample was taken on a cloudy, cool day. It was taken from Panther Hollow Lake which has considerably less human and animal traffic than the previous spot at Schenley Park. It was taken from the top layer of the soil as opposed to underneath a mulch layer. The soil was denser, darker, and more moist. It was taken between a small lake and a forest with thick vegetation, large trees, and shrubbery; the first sample was around significantly fewer plant life.
Naming NotesI named my phage Dave A. Ray because that is the name that won my twitter poll. In addition, this is the name of my high school principal who mispronounced my name at graduation.
