Discovery NotesI collected the soil sample that I used to isolate Duckling from an area on Western Kentucky University's campus. The area was near many trees. It was 86 degrees, dry, and sunny outside when I collected my sample. I dug about 2-3 cm deep to collect my sample.
Naming NotesI chose Duckling as the name for my phage because I used to feed ducklings at the park when I was little.
