Discovery NotesThe soil was collected in front of Collin College at the Spring Creek Campus around 1:00pm on February 5th near a door where ferns were growing. The location of the fern was outside the doors in between Hall G and Hall H. It was a cloudy and windy day with a temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, the soil was clumpy and moist.
Naming NotesThe name Erniesenior came from combing the source of our phage which was the fern, and the fact that ours was enriched. In addition, the reason it is Erniesenior is because plain Ernie was taken.
