Discovery NotesI found my phage in a ditch near Wildcat Creek at 8:27 pm on Wednesday, September 7th. The ditch was filled with vegetation of all sorts, especially long grass. There were also several frogs and insects because it had a small stream of runoff from the creek. The soil was moist with some organic material mixed in.
Naming NotesI am naming my phage Fattoush because it was my nickname when I was a little girl. My family is from Syria, and fattoush is a delicious, traditional Middle Eastern salad that is my family's favorite. I wanted to name my phage this because it is nostalgic to me and reminds me of my family.
