Discovery NotesThe sample was discovered in a flower bed on the Gonzaga Campus. It had recently rained so the soil had been a little moist but hard to to the wintery cold weather.
Naming NotesThe professor for our Biology Lab was named Dr. Stafstrom. The phage was discovered while taking this class and since we attend Gonzaga University we decided to add the abbreviation GU to the beginning of Dr. Stafstrom's name.
