Discovery NotesSoil sample phage were collected from came off of a hunting lease, with a wide range of wildlife living on the property. If phage were left in 37 degree incubator for more than 3 days, the phage changed from lytic to lysogenic.
Naming NotesThe phage were extremely slow growing & lytic which made them extremely hard to see, which is where we got the name ghost.
