Discovery NotesFound by Sasha Gleeson in Spring 2020. Found by a tree outside the Meremac campus library. She dug around 5cm to 10cm under the ground where there was a bit of snow, leaves, and sticks. Tessa followed up with isolation in Fall 2020.
Naming NotesNamed it after ourselves with a play on words from "gleefulness". The gleeful comes from Gleeson, and ness is changed to tess.
