Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected outside of Angwin Chapel (where Monday night worships are held) from a tree in the center of the pathway. The soil was very moist and dark, since it rained the day prior. The soil was collected about an inch deep. It wasn't so hard to collect because it was wet.
Naming NotesThe name given to the phage was Grumpy, because it did not yield the best results. It gave me a webbed plate, but not enough lysate to do a full-plate titer. In that case, I generated webbed plates and I have been close two times, but not quite. Perhaps its angry that I took it away from its habitat. This is why the name granted was Grumpy.
