Discovery NotesCollected soil from (33.1227 N, 97.919 W) at 690 feet elevation in the south west side of the University of North Texas campus. It was 93 degrees at the time of collection. The soil was dry and dark, as it had retained water from rain a few days prior. It was collected under a tree by a parking lot. I collected the top 1 inch of the soil and placed it in a plastic bag.
Naming NotesI named this phage "Higgin" as a shortened version of my last name.
