Naming NotesWe decided to name our phage Israel after the biblical story of the Hebrews being led to the Promised Land, Israel. Just as the Hebrews faced strife but eventually made it to the land, our lab group faced hard times and initially struggled to find phage, but eventually found one. This phage is our Promised Land.
