Discovery NotesWe collected a grass sample from Gonzaga University's campus. The conditions were very cold and wet and had been for the couple of months before we collected our sample. We used a spoon to dig some grass out from behind a dorm building and luckily, that sample had phage.
Naming NotesEmma and Nicole have the same nursing advisor at Gonzaga University. She is amazing and we decided to name our phage Janalee (her name) in honor of her.
