Discovery NotesThe purification process was very tedious because I believed each sample was impure. It wasn't until multiple rounds of purifications were performed that we explored the possibility of clear plaque mutants. This was verified by streaking each plaque onto separate plates.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after Barbara Streisand's character in the movie "The Way We Were." She was a very complicated character, as was this phage.
