Discovery NotesThe weather during the collection of soil sample was around 10 degrees Fahrenheit and the ground was frozen solid due to the recent snow. It was relatively sunny and windy, and the sample was taken approximately 7 cm into the ground. The surrounding area was free of vegetation with the exception of grass, but trees were bordering the region. The soil was hard and had many clumps, and was dark brown.
