Discovery NotesUnderneath a tree at Carthage College in the middle of what is called "Oaks circle" after digging about 13" below mulch and dry black soil with worms and roots, I took a sample of the black dirt. This was my second attempt to find phage and the isolation was successful.
Naming NotesLMK is the group's initials. Lynnette, Megan, and Katie. "Sparkles" was added because Megan wanted to name the phage sparkles but not everyone agreed. So, we compromised.
