Discovery NotesI found my soil sample near Pitt's campus in Oakland on a street named Kennet Square. The temperature throughout the week remained very warm and humid, giving a somewhat drier soil. The temperature at night when the soil was taken was abought 78 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesThe phage is named after a band that I was listening to at the time that I took my soli sample. It is also relevant because there is a laundromat across the street from where I collected the sample.
