Discovery NotesThe phage was discovered on a damp and fairly cold morning of September 10, 2013. It was isolated from the soil sample taken from around the statue of Saint Scholastica located on College of St. Scholastica's campus in Duluth, Minnesota.
Naming NotesInitially the phage was going to be name Lesa, as that was my favorite childhood nickname; however, having isolated it from around the statue of St. Scholastica, I decided to combine the two names into LeScholastica.
