Discovery NotesThe phage Leez1 discovered from the soil sample collected from the University of KwaZulu-Natal residential site R-block. The soil was collected nearby the tree located in front of the R-block residence's entrance. The soil sample collected was light brown and dry soil type.
Naming NotesPhage Leez1 was named after an everlasting brother of the discover. As this phage (Leez1) is the first phage Zinhle, he discover ever isolated in her entire life.
