Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected at the Chevron Science Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 11:47 am on January 22, 2017. The exact coordinates are 40.4458525 N, 79.957586o. The soil was damp and located near several bushes. The temperature at time of collection was 61 F. The sample was stored at room temperature for approximately 23 hours.
Naming NotesDue to a lack of originality, I named this phage after myself. Because the phage is rather small, however, I added the descriptive term "Lil" - a common pronunciation of the word "little."
