Discovery NotesThe bacteriophage was isolated from a shaded area with moist, dark brown soil. The soil was found between a pomegranate and lemon tree with decaying fruits and organic matter in it. The soil was taken from a depth of an inch.
Naming NotesLisdan23 is a combination of both my little brother's and I's nicknames and birth years. My family used to use Lisdan23 as a username for everything. It seemed fitting that because my family helped me find the soil, I would use Lisdan23 to name my phage.
