Discovery NotesThe soil was taken from a spot at Loch Raven where the sand meets the soil. At the time of collection it was 80°F, with 44% humidity and some recent rain. The soil was moist, dark, claylike top soil and it was hard to dig up. There was no evidence of organic matter.
Naming NotesThe soil sample was collected right next to a special spot my best friend and I go to at Loch Raven that we call the thinking log so we wanted to have log in the phage name!
