Discovery NotesThe sample was obtained from a raised garden bed with amended soil from an approximate depth of 23cm. The top layer of soil was frozen to a depth of approximately 2.5cm. The soil was dark in color, contained ample organic matter from a mixture of local organic mulch, black cow, peat moss, mushroom compost, and vermiculite. The soil that was collected was loose and dry.
