Discovery NotesSoil was taken from 2 inches beneath the surface of the ground in the garden behind Huesmann Hall on a sunny day in mid-September at Loyola Marymount University. Top layer of soil was bark and wood chips; roots from a shrub were nearby the soil site. The soil taken was fine and dry.
