Discovery NotesThe sample was obtained from a residential home located in the Northeastern area of Las Vegas, NV. The time of the collection was taken on August 30th, 2021 at 6:41 pm. The specific location of the sample site was a house plant located in the interior of the home. utilizing a garden trowel the soil closest to the roots of the plant was taken. Digging to around 6-8 inches with the trowel was done in order to attempt to obtain the highest probability of getting bacteria and therefore phage. The sample was moist and rich in texture which is to be expected for soil that is watered every 2 days.
