Discovery NotesFound about 5 feet from a local pond. Morning dew present in the surrounding area. Plants surrounding the soil area where collection occurred. 35 feet elevation. The soil collected was down to 1 inch deep from the surface. Residential homes and forestation were also nearby.
Naming NotesI decided to name the phage after my family because I felt that having the opportunity to spread the family name into research would be a nice way of giving back to those who supported my decision to go into the medical field; my family. The term can be pronounced as “Mik-luh-zoo-ski” or “Mik-luh-chef-ski” (its proper pronunciation) for convenience purposes.
