Discovery NotesPhage Mishka was obtained from wet surface soil that had coarse dark brown grains found in a herb and flower garden. The soil was enriched for 48 hours,plated the following day and incubated overnight. Large plaque regions appeared the next day and were analysed.
Naming NotesThe phage "Mishka" was named after the scientist that discovered it, Talya Mishka Tarryn Maharaj.
