Discovery NotesWe found the phage outside of the Comstock Memorial Union on the Minnesota State University Campus. The soil was dry and crumbly on top, but damp below. We got our soil from about an inch below the surface. The weather was hot and sunny.
Naming NotesOriginally we had named our phage Thanos after the Marvel character because Thanos in the Avengers movies killed half the population and we were hoping that our phage would be as successful at killing the bacteria. However, by the time we got to put our phage in the database the name was taken. So instead we settled on
