| Discovery Notes | I collected soil from (33°12'28.8"N 97°08'51.1"W) in southwestern Denton, Texas at 20:59. The temperature was 95 degrees F and humidity was 44%. The location was located by a picnic bench and a tree root. I dug 1 inch into the ground before collecting between the tree root and pavement. The collected soil was placed into a plastic bag. |
| Naming Notes | The name MsFrizzle came from the cartoon "The Magic School Bus," which featured a science teacher named Ms. Frizzle taking her class on field trips to discover how the world works and teaching science. She was the one who got me interested in science at a young age so I thought this would be a nice way to honor that. |
