Discovery NotesSoil collected on Monday 9/7/2015 at the University of Pittsburgh's Peterson Events Center Lawn. It had rained over the weekend and the evening it was collected was cool out although the day had been warm.
Naming NotesDue to the phage's plaque morphology having a more opaque outer rim it reminded me of a halo type effect. The official name is "halo" in Swahili.
