Discovery NotesDiscovered on February 2nd at 1:04 P.M. The sample was found in a grassy median behind the McNeil Science and Technology Center. The sample was obtained less than a foot away from a fire hydrant. 4 centimeters of moist soil was extracted.
Naming NotesThis phage was named as a tribute to our good friend and lab partner last semester, Owen. He exclaimed, in a computer lab, that his laptop died so he could not continue to work, every class.
