Discovery Notes-Date/Time Collected: September 8, 2018/ 5:32pm

-This soil sample was taken from a planter in Schenley Plaza near the intersection of Forbes Ave and Schenley Dr Ext.

-Outside Weather Conditions*:
59° F ("feels like" 57°)
Winds blowing NE at 9 MPH
Humidity: 95%
Dew Point: 57°

-Condition of the soil: The soil is wet. This wetness can be attributed to recent rain that the Pittsburgh area has experienced since Thursday September 6th. The soil was soft and easy to scoop up with the plastic bag turned inside out, and not loose, or dusty.

Naming NotesThe sky was full of clouds the day this soil sample was collected. I pulled inspiration for the name from the first movement of French composer, Claude Debussy's Nocturnes. "Nuages" means clouds in French.
