Discovery NotesCollected February 2nd at 4:15pm. The temperature was 38°F and the dirt was 19cm deep. The sample was collected from the soil under a tree near the ARC. It was a moist soil sample with some small twigs and rocks. It was collected from an area close to a parking lot and that may experience a bit of foot traffic, however the sample was collected from a spot under the tree that does not experience any foot traffic.
Naming NotesAfter we spilled some of the phage fluid that came out of our webbed plates that we were flooding onto the table, we doused it in CiDecon. A reaction occurred that caused the phage fluid and CIDecon mixture to turn into a pretty blue color, making it look like an oil spill.
