Discovery NotesThis phage was discovered at dusk on 9/10 at a public park, Coe's Pond, in Worcester. Soil was taken from beneath the water, in the lake bed.
Naming NotesOriginally began with 4 viable samples, and gave them all pasta names to keep track of what I was doing with them (fusili, tortellini, orechiette, and ravioli respectively) as I had come into the lab a bit hungry. This phage, Orecchiette, was my favorite.
